A CMM Enclosure located on the shop floor is a low cost option for any CMM. With in process checks more and more evident in the manufacturing process the opportunity to locate a CMM right in the heart of the manufacturing cell is all too evident.
Many air bearing CMM's will need some sort of protection against dirt and dust on the shop floor so a purpose built CMM Enclosure is an inexpensive option for the CMM. Enclosures can also be supplied for the Renishaw Equator systems.
The CMM Enclosure is manufactured from aluminium extrusion made to form a lightweight, rigid construction. Side panels are made from clear or coloured foamex or PTEG.
